Something to note is that j.236L sometimes wont work at too high hit stun. Using the wall bounce of vanish will usually work, but if you're too high the opponent will tech out before Gohan reaches the ground. Level 3 however (Father-son Kamehameha) will combo from any sliding knockdown. Video Examples
44mm Luminor with the Bettarini case or a 45mm Radiomir should wear perfect .K+
K+ Getting the panerai bug but want to know best option for a smaller wrist. Would .
FWIW, I have an under 7" wrist and easily wear a PAM915 because of my wrist's absolute width and the way the lugs turn down. You might want to try these on if you can. I've also not bought, but had on wrist, the 40mm luminor 1371, which I think is incredibly comfortable @ 40mm and still has 100m WR. 44mm Luminor with the Bettarini case or a 45mm Radiomir should wear perfect on a 7 inch wrist. Here is my 1086 on my 7 inch wrist. I like the 1086 because it is only 13.05mm thick. Getting the panerai bug but want to know best option for a smaller wrist. Would like one that does not have thick case greater then 14mm and not greater then 44mm. Is the classic panerai, the pam111 and 911 a good choice? I visited a Pam AD last month and really really liked some of the pieces. However, didnt get enough time to 'demo' it on my miserable 7" flat wrist. AD is like 2.5 hours away. I've been looking seriously and really like 45mm Radiomir or Marina 44mm (both in gmt offerings).
Looks good! Panerai watches are some of the few watches that look good, large. What's your wrist size? P.S. I normally wear 37-39 mm watches and prefer small watches, however I enjoy my 44 mm Panerai on my 18 cm / 7 inch wrist. Short and curved lugs combined with leather straps make Panerai wear smaller than the diameter. If you want a Luminor, consider trying some Bettarini case models (000, 005, 111, etc), which wear closer to the wrist than the 1950 case models.
I have a 71/2 inch wrist and it fits and feels perfect. Rolex redesigned the case and lugs to fit better. The red SEA DWELLER, matte dial and cyclops are a great combination of features. But if your wrist is smaller than than 7 inches around, and if you're buying a Panerai primarily for style, then the Luminor Due 38 would be a very solid choice. Visit Hodinkee affiliate Crown & Caliber to shop pre-owned Panerai models. Here's what I thought after wearing Panerai's smallest watch. For me, on my almost 7 1/2 inch wrist, the 44mm case seats perfectly as the lugs are curved down without overpowering my wrist. The black alligator strap that came with it is high grade and looks to be machine stitched in white.
The size guide is helpful, but this photoseries also shows how important it is for a watch to have a balanzed bezel/dial width, relative to the arm. E.g. the timex - the case vs. dial is almost perfect for the wrist. Same for the Panerai.
