I recommend going leather, like the classic YSL card holder. Leather will stretch and soften over time. Alternatively, I also really like the Polene card holder. The luxury card holders are all lined in fabric, whereas the Polene one is only €40 and 100% leather inside out.I LOVE my YSL card holder that has caviar leather.
